This is an ongoing full length series, with Destiny, book four, releasing in 2016 and future books to follow. Juliesbookreviews-Fracture was an extremely entertaining book. I loved the slow way the author lets us into the true identity of Kristina’s heritage. The world of Patwain is very well developed. There are back-stories to the characters and the women of Couton could have their own book to reflect their culture and customs. As the intrigue and conflict that envelope Patwain become more evident you get pulled more and more into this world of Kings and concubines, fierce warriors and the pull and tug for power. Along the way, our heroes are helped and hindered by external forces that work against them as well as their refusal to accept their own destinies.

Virginia McKevitt was born in Long Beach, California, but lived most of her life in the suburbs of New Orleans, Louisiana. She has been many things in life; a wife, a mother, a salesperson, owned her landscaping business and raised horses, but her love of writing never was never far from her heart. Hurricane Katrina, a curse for many, changed her life. The business gone and family scattered, she moved to Alabama, then to the mountains of Georgia.
Life urged her on, so when she found the first chapters of a manuscript she had started while still in New Orleans, she sat down at the computer and never looked back.
