Threading his fingers through mine, I spoke softly. “If you will accept me as your mate, you will never be alone again.”

Hector is an exotic alpha shifter – a jaguar from the jungles of Belize. He arrives in Mills Creek seeking his formerly betrothed mate only to find himself embroiled in the rogue war. All the local bear shifters will die without Hector’s empathic gift, a legacy that has passed through his family from ancient times.

Sweet, lonely Drew is an omega bear shifter who dreams of leaving his small town and traveling the world. If only he had the means and a mate to share the experience with him.

Hector and Drew must find their way together while the leaders of The Den and The Lodge merge together to battle a common villainess that seeks to destroy them all.

My Review:

This is the 5th Book in Northern Pines Den Series and the end of the war between the Wolf/Bear Clan against crazy Yvonne. There is a lot of confusion when Hector shows up out of the blue. The story builds that with two of wild magic of the first family maybe they have a chance to end all the bloodshed. We get to see the mating of Hector and Drew. The strength that brings them all together and protects their families. This is a must read series would recommend reading in order to have a full understanding of the characters.
