“Oh really?” Kensei pinned Mac with her weight. Propped on elbows and chin in hand, she regarded him steadily.
“Phenomenal,” he winked, “That’s the word I was after, Earth-shattering was a close second.”
“Well then, you’re forgiven.” She found his lips in the dark and kissed them in a lingering, seductive way. Glancing at the Mickey Mouse clock, she announced, “You know, it’s only 5.30 am – plenty of time for…… “ she let the sentence trail off in a build-your-own-adventure type scenario.
Kensei Tucker is a survivor. Ten years ago, she and four other college students were abducted and tortured by a serial killer who went by the name ‘Nightmare’. Kensei was the only survivor of this terrifying ordeal.
