Blurb

“I’ve never thought of calling a man Daddy before, but I can’t think of a word that fits Vale better. He’s my Daddy, and I’m his pup.”

Broken and bruised, there’s nothing I won’t do to protect Adrian. I picked him up and made him whole before, and I’ll do it again. Adrian is a sweet pup with a smile full of sunshine and a heart made for love. A sweet pup needs a gentle hand, and that’s exactly what I intend to give him.

There’s nothing quite like slipping an expensive pair of high heels onto Adrian’s feet and watching him light up. If he wants a fairytale, I’ll happily be his Prince Charming.

*Heel is the second book in the Working Out the Kinks series but can be read as a stand-alone. This book contains a scene of domestic violence. This book also contains an adorable man who loves to be a puppy, fabulous high heels, and the happily ever after Adrian deserves.

Excerpt

“If you’re not careful, you’re going to spoil me,” Adrian warns as I hold the spoon to his lips to feed him the last bite of our dessert. “I already told you, you’re mine. It’s my prerogative to spoil my pup if I want to.” The happiness on his face is worth a little bit of spoiling. Eventually we leave the restaurant, and I claim his hand for our walk back to the car. “Oh shoot, my shoe strap is all messed up, hold on one second,” he says as we make our way down the sidewalk. Without hesitation, I stoop down, my knees hitting the rough pavement, no doubt doing a number on my fancy ass pants, but I couldn’t give less of a fuck. I find the offending strap, twisted and rubbing against the delicate ridge of Adrian’s foot. Nimbly, I slide my finger under it to right it. Adrian wobbles on his feet briefly, his hands clutching at my shoulders for balance before he topples. When his strap is fixed, I tilt my head to look up at him, his slight frame towering over me for a change, a look of awe and surprise painting his pretty face. I take his right hand off my shoulder and bring it to my lips, brushing a kiss on his palm before standing up and brushing off my pants. “Thank you, sir,” he says in a breathy sort of whisper. “Hey, none of that ‘sir’ stuff,” I scold gently. Normally, I’d let a pup call me whatever he likes, but after what Adrian went through at the hands of the last man he called sir, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. “What should I call you then?” he asks, curiosity and a hint of playfulness dipping into his tone. Daddy, I want to say. The overwhelming need to take care of him and love him almost knocks the breath out of me. It’s such an intimate word; do I have the right to ask for it yet? “Please, tell me,” he begs when I don’t answer right away. “Daddy,” I say, keeping my eyes locked on his to gauge his reaction. His pupils dilate, and his cheeks pink again. “Daddy,” he whispers, the word sounding entirely too perfect. I lean forward so I can taste it on his lips. He sways close, clutching my chest with his good hand as he sighs into my mouth. “Let’s go home, Sunshine,” I suggest, nipping at his bottom lip. “Yes, Daddy.” KM Neuhold Logo__

Author K.M.Neuhold is a complete romance junkie, a total sap in every way. She started her journey as an author in new adult, MF romance, but after a chance reading of an MM book she was completely hooked on everything about lovely- and sometimes damaged- men finding their Happily Ever After together. She has a strong passion for writing characters with a lot of heart and soul, and a bit of humor as well. And she fully admits that her OCD tendencies of making sure every side character has a full backstory will likely always lead to every book having a spin-off or series. When she’s not writing she’s a lion tamer, an astronaut, and a superhero…just kidding, she’s likely watching Netflix and snuggling with her husky while her amazing husband brings her coffee.

Hidden Pain

EXCERPT REVEAL

A howl from nearby drew his attention. Wolves, in his opinion, were very loud, but then again, he hadn’t really spent much time around shifters before, so maybe it was a common occurrence to make a din and let everyone know where you were. The leaves nearby rustled, and a group of four wolves appeared from the undergrowth. Kingsley suspected the wolf who led the way was Hunter while the other three dragged the dead body of a deer behind them.

The leader raised his head, and Kingsley could just make out in the dimness of the garden solar lights the wolf’s nose sniffing the air. The animal’s large head turned to face him, and its deep brown eyes held him in a penetrating gaze that almost had him running inside. It isn’t every day you encounter a wolf mere meters from where you’re sitting, and although he knew these were no ordinary wolves, human nature told him to run and hide. Kingsley composed himself with another drag on his cigarette. The lead wolf growled low, the corners of its mouth turning up at the edges. The other wolves then looked over at Kingsley before gathering up the freshly caught dinner and pulling it toward the kitchen.

Hunter remained in the garden, his eyes staying focused on Kingsley. The wolf stalked closer to him, his stride majestic as he prowled along the rose-lined borders of the garden. Kingsley could still hear the growl reverberating from him. When the wolf was almost at the patio area, it started to shift. Kingsley had been around shifters for a while, but he’d never seen a wolf change before. It was even more awe-inspiring than watching Zain do it: the way the fur receded and disappeared to leave human skin, the way the bones cracked and changed into a human body, and the way the face altered from animal to human. The eyes were the last things to shift, and Hunter’s deep brown eyes now in human form were staring intently at him.

“Put it out,” Hunter ordered. Kingsley looked at his cigarette, and then slowly he put it to his lips and took another long drag. He allowed the smoke to enter his lungs and numb the pain he felt. Hunter growled…even in human form, he was still intimidating. The wolf shifter then stomped forward, naked as the day he was born, and grabbing the cigarette from Kingsley, he stubbed it out himself.

“No smoking on my property.”

“You one of those health-kick people types who don’t allow anyone else to have fun? You going to go inside next and stop the wedding guests from drinking alcohol?” Kingsley inquired, responding to the destruction of his cigarette with sarcasm.

“It’s a bad habit, and it smells disgusting. Most of the people here have sensitive noses. Smoking doesn’t do any of us any good,” Hunter replied. He was now standing in front of Kingsley with his muscular arms folded across his chest. His shoulder-length brown hair framed his face and strong stubbled jawline. As Kingsley’s gaze lowered, he could see two piercings in each of the wolf’s nipples. How did that work with the whole shifting thing? Kingsley wasn’t bisexual, he was just curious. He’d experimented with a man in his younger days, but it hadn’t done anything for him. However, staring at the dominant male who was glaring murderously back at him was stirring things down below. He didn’t need that to happen, so he quickly turned away before he found himself daring to look any lower than Hunter’s chest.

The wolf sniffed again, his nostrils flaring. Kingsley picked up his cigarette packet and made to re-enter the house.

“They shift with me…as do the piercings in my cock.”

Kingsley froze to the spot and turned around slowly. He knew he shouldn’t look, but human nature being what it is immediately drew his eyes to Hunter’s groin area, and the Apadravya piercing situated there.

“Isn’t that going to look odd if you get spotted?” Kingsley asked.

“It’s no different to a she-wolf wearing a pair of hoops. Mine are hidden beneath my fur. They’re unlikely to be seen.”

Kingsley found he was still staring at the other man’s rather large cock. It wasn’t flaccid, and that scared him. He dragged his eyes up higher to meet Hunter’s.

Wrecked By Her – Kristie Leigh

Wrecked by Her
Like A Hurricane Duet, Book 1

It’s LIVE!
mybook.to/HurricaneDuet1

Loving Jules in high school was easy—gentle and natural. But that was eight years ago, before she left town. Before she took off and left my heart shattered.

Now she’s back…with a kid I’ve never met.

A hurricane, that’s what she is—powerful and potentially destructive, yet so thrilling and intense.

If she leaves me wrecked again…I won’t survive.

Excerpt:

“Great actually. I’m not usually a morning person, but this morning has been great. I even got flowers.” I blushed a little.
“Oh? Does someone have a secret admirer?”
I shook my head still smiling, but before I could speak, I was cut off.
“It’s never been a secret how I feel about Jules.” Just the sound of his voice had my stomach doing somersaults.
I closed my eyes. I couldn’t help it. I was not ready to see him, but I was excited all the same. Wait, did he just say how he feels? As in present tense?
He touched the small of my back ever so slightly igniting my whole body. Leaning in, he brushed his lips against my cheek, and my eyes snapped open. Is that a beard? I turned to see for myself, and he was right there. His lips were a mere inch from mine.
“Hi, Jules.” He was smirking at me, was he always this sexy?
Say something, move your mouth. “Uh, um, hey, Hunter.” Smooth, stutter much?
I looked away for a second, but my body betrayed me by turning back to take him in again. He was still smirking at me like he could read my mind.
“I’m sorry. I’m just in shock. How are you?” I gave him a hug, that was a normal thing to do right now, I believed.
Hunter wrapped his arms around me tightly. I didn’t want him to let go; it felt so good to be in his arms. When I finally pulled back, he kept his hand on my waist.

Don’t forget book 1, Wrecked By Him

I’m a feisty redheaded Canadian/American who fell in love with romance novels when my friend Phil bought me a Kindle and it hasn’t left my side since.

My fave books to read are anything taboo and super sick and twisted, I’m not sure I will ever write anything dark but I would love to give it a shot one day.

I live in South Florida with my high school sweetheart and 3 kids.

I grew up in Burlington, ON, Canada but made the move to South Florida in 2013 and definitely don’t miss the snow.

I’m not sure where this writing journey will take me but either way I know it will be a fun new adventure and I’m super excited about it.

Regret at Roosevelt Ranch by Elise Faber

This time there won’t be any regrets… Regret at Roosevelt Ranch by Elise Faber is now available!
Universal — mybook.to/RaRR
Henry Miller was nobody. Not any longer. He used to be an up and coming chef in New York City, training under one of the most famous celebrity chefs in the world. But that had been five years before. When he’d been itching to leave the small-town life of Darlington, Utah behind and become rich and powerful and famous. He’d been on his way too—had the fancy apartment, the great job, the gorgeous fiancé. Isabella had been generous, sweet, and beautiful inside and out . . . or so he’d thought. Because the moment he’d taken leave from his job to come home and care for his father, the moment he’d slipped free of the outer edges of celebrity by returning to Utah to help his mother run the diner, Bella had dumped him. Without a word and definitely without any explanation, Bella had disappeared from his life faster than a Michelin star from a restaurant that had lost his shine. And he was fine with that. He’d moved on, rebuilt a life in Darlington and found, if not fulfillment, then at least peace in cooking at his father’s old diner. Until Isabella showed up in town with a new fiancé in tow. Until Bella wanted him to cook the food for her wedding at Roosevelt Ranch. Until . . . he found out why she had left. Suddenly, the peaceful but boring life Henry had built for himself was chaotic and frightening and it potentially, maybe . . . possibly might be punctuated with a happy ending.
