BLURB:
No one expects lace in a laundry room to change their life.

At twenty-one, Flores Williams has a few things his (non-existent) friends don’t: a police record, abusive parents, and a colorful hobby. But the worst thing about being independent? Breaking an expensive washing machine right before your ballet audition. Flores needs clothes, he needs a job, he needs a miracle.

As long as that miracle isn’t Gareth Brown.

Ten years ago, Gareth lost his husband to a car accident. These days, he hangs around with his firefighting team, trying to fill the void in his heart. When his friend makes a request, Gareth agrees: Watch Tim Williams’ son. Flores is a criminal, and Gareth thinks he can stop that boy from going back into jail.

But Gareth isn’t prepared for Flores to call him Sir. Add to that the fact that Flores has never been kissed. And that Gareth increasingly wants Flores to be his boy. Gareth shouldn’t—he’s far older. He’s promised Tim that he wouldn’t get involved with Flores.

As fate drags them into a whirlpool of lace, sweet punishments, and an accidental pregnancy, will the growing fire between Flores and Gareth draw them closer, or will the demons from their pasts burn them to the ground?

My Review:

STARS: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is the 2nd book in the Meadowfall Firefighter series. This book had me hook from page one and emotions all over the place. ready dislike the beautiful Flores parents breaking his fingers and trying to ruin him from dancing or painting. Gareth truly almost lost the best thing in his life with lies he was feed to about Flores. This was a beautiful journey of a older man that show his love that he is beautiful and do anything he set his mind to. highly recommend this book and series today
