🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

From Bestselling author Sharlyn G. Branson, comes the first book in a new, beautiful duet.

“This book gave me all kinds of feels and pull at the heart strings. I laughed, I cried, I got sad and I wanted more! I absolutely loved it!” – LoveBooks Blog
“Rockstar might have all the fun, but Sharlyn G. Branson has the mind to bring them to life. It’s authors like her that made me fall in love with reading. ” – Alicia Reads Blog

Sex, wild parties and alcohol.
When you’re the lead singer of a rock group, you don’t
need to make much of an effort to attract the attention of a hot chick—the music had already done that job for you. And when you make her scream in bed, tightly gripping the sheets or digging her nails into your back—it is mission complete.
Everybody calls me the devil. I think they dubbed me that because they believe I’m heartless. Perhaps they’re right…
I don’t know the meaning of the word “love” and I’ve always tried to avoid emotions. I suspect the reason for that is hidden in my past. I really have no idea and don’t want to try to find the answer.
The only question I’m still seeking answer to is: Why, since I met her, can’t I think of anything other than the petite French woman with thick lips and the body of a goddess, Emily Delon?

Beautiful Devil is the first book in the Rockstar Duet. Beautiful Devil (Book 2) will release one month later on September, 18, 2018.

He came into our garden like a ghost,
the blond boy with the raven on his shoulder.
He was pretty like a star,
and just as distant,
an imaginary friend
vanishing before anyone else could see him.
But years later, he appears at my high school.
He comes out of nowhere, just like before.
This time he’s older, taller, the raven gone.
Is he real? Was it all true?
And if he vanishes again, how will I survive it?

by Jude Ouvrard

When Hunter Reed’s longtime plans go awry following her college graduation, she has two choices. She can wallow in her grief, or she can get away from Utah, and the people who broke her. Determined to escape the shadow of her parents and make it on her own terms, she lands her dream job at an up-and-coming graphic design company in Portland, packs her bags, and hits the road.
No sooner has Hunter arrived, than the adventures begin. With a new apartment, and learning her job comes with a private office—and a handsome boss who is her age—she settles in straight away, befriending neighbors and co-workers alike. Welcomed into the fold, the transition is smooth and easy.
Almost too easy.
Just when she gets comfortable with how perfect her life is going, an unforgettable Elvis at a costume party will make Hunter forget everything she was taught about propriety, leading to a night of drunken abandonment and dangerous encounters that will set in motion a web of little white lies which could undo everything she has worked so hard for.
Although Hunter finds herself facing two choices again, this time, her heart is on the line.
Jude Ouvrard is a mom, a girlfriend, a sister, and a daughter… well, you get the idea.
She’s also an avid reader and writer. Ouvrard loves books–the words in them, and the worlds of fantasy they create. Basically, she’s a sucker for any type of romance book. That’s her thing.
Born and raised in a small village in the Canadian countryside, it’s been nearly two decades since she moved out of the family home to go explore and enjoy the city life. Living with her longtime boyfriend, their son, and their fur babies in Montreal, her days are labored away at a law firm while she lives her dream job by night. Writing. Creating. Giving shape and form to the characters who whisper their stories in her head.
Ouvrard writes new adult, military, and contemporary romance tales filled with drama, love, and everything in between.

It is a standalone story.

Blurb Can second chance love survive past trauma? Reece has one goal: to compete in the Olympic Games. With the gymnastics World Championships looming, his dream is one step closer to becoming a reality. When his childhood sweetheart, Alex, walks back into his life unexpectedly, Reece’s world is turned upside down. Alex was the boy who inexplicably pushed him away and broke his heart; the boy he still loves. When the truth behind their break-up is revealed, Reece wants to hold Alex up and give him the strength to heal. But can Reece be Alex’s rock, and remain focused on his training, or will his Olympic dreams suffer in the process? Hold Me Up is a MM second chance romance, with a slow-burn relationship and lots of hurt/comfort. It’s the first in a series of books that follows male artistic gymnasts as they chase gold. Trigger warnings: Hold Me Up features a character who suffers from anxiety and panic attacks due to a past event that is briefly described. Excerpt “What the fuck are you doing here, Alex?” Reece demanded, not even trying to hide the anger in his tone. He couldn’t miss the fact that Alex flinched, and he felt a pinch of guilt. “Writing an article.” Alex’s eyes were wide and imploring, in a ‘can we just get this over with?’ kind of way. Reece sat down at one of the tables. “Go on then, ask your questions.” Alex grimaced as he sat down at the next table along. “How have you been?” Reece rolled his eyes. “You’re not here to chit chat.” God he was being an arse and he knew it, but he wasn’t sure what else Alex expected from him. “Sorry.” Alex stared down at the table for several seconds, his fierce stare reminding Reece of the night Alex had ended not only their relationship, but their friendship, too. After a while, Alex opened the small rucksack he’d brought with him and pulled out an electronic recorder, a notepad and pen. “Do you mind if I record our conversation?” “Go for it.” Alex touched his finger to the on button, but didn’t press it. His mouth quivered, as though he wanted to say something, but either couldn’t find the words or the courage. An urge to bundle him up into his arms struck Reece, and it was all he could do not to stand up and do exactly that. He had no right to embrace Alex, and doubted the guy would appreciate it if he did. “Are you going to ask me questions, or what?” he asked instead, painfully aware of the gruffness in his voice. “I’m sorry for surprising you,” Alex said at last. Reece stiffened. What he’d really wanted to hear was an apology for the way Alex had treated him four years ago, but obviously that was far too much to ask. “Just get on with it,” he growled. Alex glanced around the room. “This place hasn’t changed.” “It’s had a lick of paint.” Alex nodded. “There’s some new equipment in the gym.” “It’s been four years, Alex, the equipment needed updating.” Alex’s jaw flexed. “I’m really not interested in small talk,” Reece said. “You made it quite clear four years ago that you wanted nothing more to do with me, so stop sitting there pretending to be nice.” “I—” Alex clamped his mouth shut and looked at the floor. He grasped the pen and began to tap it against the closed notepad, the fast sound was incessant and loud in the empty room. With his other hand, he turned the recorder on and pushed it across the table, closer to Reece, before flipping the pad open. “How did it feel to be selected to compete in the World Championships?” Reece narrowed his eyes. He’d heard that frosty, not-quite-neutral tone before and it made his skin crawl. “Like a dream come true,” he muttered. “But it’s just one step towards my real goal.” For the first time, Alex lifted his gaze to meet Reece’s stare. “Your real goal?” he echoed. Reece resisted the temptation to snap out a sarcastic comment about how Alex must have known what that was. “The Olympics.”

The Blind Date Diaries by Brenda St John Brown

Title: The Blind Date Diaries
Author: Brenda St John Brown
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: January 15, 2020

Dating? Lower than a bikini wax on my list of priorities.

Blind dating? Let’s just say I’d rather have a Brazilian – and not the hot soccer-player variety.

So the fact I’ve agreed to do a blind-date feature for Pink, the magazine I work for, and write it all up Bridget Jones style means one thing – Pink is in dire straits and this is my best shot at saving my job.

Make that my only shot because date number one is with Jack Reese – the son of the publisher of Pink – and he dislikes me as much as I dislike him.

Or at least I thought he did.

“Ang is going to be Pink’s own Bachelorette?” Erin’s tone is snarky, and I dig my fingernails into my palm to keep myself from snapping back at her. Just because I’m curvy doesn’t mean I couldn’t be a Bachelorette.
“Without the roses. Because that’s dumb, man. I don’t care what anyone says,” says Patrick, with an exaggerated eye roll.
Everyone laughs and I shoot Patrick a grateful look. I owe him big time for jumping on board with this and keeping any doubts he’s had to himself. “The introductory spread is going in the print edition, we’ve got banner ads for the website, and Patrick’s also put together a set of social media banners. We’ll need to really build buzz about this before we run the first blind date story next week.”
“What if no one responds?” asks Mike. “You’re relying on nominations, right? What if there aren’t any?”
“Oh, come on. As if.” Melissa side-eyes Mike and everyone laughs.
I laugh, too, but the truth is, Mike just hit on my biggest fear related to this whole thing. Not the dates themselves because if I can get through lunch with my boss, I can get through a blind date. But what if no one wants to participate? What if no one wants to go out with me?
And I know it’s not about me at all in the broad scheme of things. But in the details, it is. I’m the datee in this thing and I’m no Helen of Troy. I mean, I’m not ugly, just…average. Average height. Average looks. On the plus side, I have great cheekbones. On the minus side, I’m carrying at least twenty extra pounds because I don’t exercise enough. My other older brother, Will, always says I have the body of a supermodel hidden in me somewhere, but Will’s a personal trainer and he gets paid to say things like that.
Erin’s voice snaps me out of my reverie. “We need a plant.”
“A plant?” A shrub, maybe a rhododendron? “For what?”
“Not that kind. I mean a pre-determined winner for date one,” says Erin. “So in case no one comes forward, we can fudge it and have someone to kick this off.”
Before I can respond, a voice rings out from the back of the room and all heads turn towards Jack Reese, who’s somehow slipped in the back when no one was watching. “I’ll do it.”
My heart leaps to my throat. Jack’s gaze is cool and detached, although his eyes rake over me like he’s picturing my gray skirt pushed up around my waist and now I can’t help imagining that, too. I glance down at my fingers twisting the pen in my hand and when I glance back up at Jack, I see a trace of a smirk on his lips. Like he knows he’s had an effect on me and he’s ticking off some mental scorecard.
“Uh, yeah?” My words are no better than a stutter. “I mean, that could work, right?”
“Unless you have a better suggestion?” Erin’s tone makes it clear what she thinks the likelihood of this is.
All eyes turn towards me. I could admit right now that the whole Jack thing has already been arranged, but it occurs to me that it probably looks better for Jack to offer, so I say, “Nope. Jack, that makes you bachelor number one. As long as you’re up for it?”
“Oh, I’m up for it.” Jack wriggles his eyebrows and Erin giggles.

A Season of Sons

Publisher: Tell-Tale Publishing Group

A Season of Sons is a paranormal thriller of deception, illusion… and murder.

The year is 2012. While investigating the heinous death of a prominent evangelist, FBI agent, Leon Safullo is unable to identify the killer through traditional methods of forensic analysis. Simultaneously, Leon learns of the sudden disappearance of Paul Evans, CEO of a major corporation.

Leon is a pragmatic realist whose career is based on interpreting symptoms of aberrant human behavior. The killer contacts Leon with the purpose of challenging the validity of his investigation. Leon perceives the threatening direct communication as a masquerade using digital technology, but fears for the safety of his family.

With the help of an illusionary alter ego named Pearl, Antonio Guzman claims to be a macabre combination of man and spirit, who has infiltrated society as a normal human being. He uses advanced technology combined with microbiology, drugs, and hypnosis to invade his victims’ minds and manipulate their unconscious desires. Guzman is in search of “candidates” to possess and convert those who embody “the perfect light.”

Paul Evans is a preferred target for Guzman/Pearl. Once a considerate and responsible husband and father, he has fashioned his life according to how he believes others perceive him, which exposes him to the influence of corporate greed, destroys the life of his business partner, and damages his own family.

Guzman invades and breaks down Paul’s resistance to acknowledging that dark powers have created his success, and now they want Paul’s only son, Matt, in a Faustian exchange. Matt and his sister, Jenny, possess the resistant strain of “Perfect Light.” Struggling to reclaim shreds of his identity incrementally taken and possessed by Guzman, Paul and his son flee into a mountain wilderness.

In the midst of a violent winter storm in the remote Rocky Mountains, father and son fight for survival against the forces of darkness whose sole objective is to possess them and extinguish the light wherever and in whomever it may exist.

The unfolding evidence and trail of mayhem and murder force Leon to confront his disbelief in paranormal activity as something more than the imagination and projections of a psychopathic killer.
