BLURB:

What happens when the one thing you can’t have is all you’ve ever wanted?

Declan is the perfect omega, as far as Klaus is concerned. He’s a big teddy bear who’s a little rough around the edges and cares for everyone in the pack like a surrogate father, and Klaus has loved him from the moment he sought refuge in Wildcrest.

Unfortunately for Klaus, Declan has always belonged to Jason, the former pack alpha. In life, Jason was a tyrant who treated his mate as carelessly as the rest of his pack, and in death, the ghost of him still lingers.

Losing himself in meaningless flings just isn’t enough to keep Klaus’ longing for the older omega at bay anymore. He can’t keep running from the truth, or the secret he buried long ago that could destroy everything–including the friendship between him and the only omega he’s ever loved.

Shattered Wolf is the second book in the Wildcrest Pack series. This is a standalone Mpreg romance with a May-December friends-to-lovers pairing, a loving pack of close-knit shifters, and a guaranteed HEA.

Review By Virginia Lee

This is the 2nd book in The Wildcrest Pack series. We get to see more of Declan and all the secrets that he is hiding. What he went through to protect all the members of his pack from the Alpha. What is Declan to do when feelings that he thought long buried to start to surface and they are circling on way younger Alpha.  Klaus has had a crush on the Alpha mate, and can he bring it to light now or not? Can’t wait to read more in the series hopefully we get to see more of Gabriel and his one. Highly Recommend this series if you love to read about shifters

A brooding hockey hunk learns to embrace life—and love—from a single mom who takes the world one puck at a time.

“Kelly Jamieson is my go-to author for hockey romance.”—USA Today bestselling author Jami Davenport

Big move . . . Jodie’s motto is “Don’t wait for the perfect moment—take the moment and make it perfect.” And that’s just what she decides to do when she moves to Chicago with her two-year-old daughter. Now all Jodie needs is a place to live, and her best friend’s boyfriend has just the answer.

Big stick . . . Nick Balachov has zero interest in socializing, partying, or flirting right now. It’s not that he doesn’t like women. He loves them. It’s just that hockey, casual hookups, and hanging out at home are enough for him these days. Now Nick has a big problem—because the woman living in his empty coach house is a major distraction.

Big deal? The more Nick tries to keep his distance, the more Jodie needs him—around the house, that is. First he helps with the snowstorm, then the power outage. Nick even finds himself trying to impress her little girl. What the hell is wrong with him? Jodie represents everything Nick doesn’t want. But maybe she’s just what he needs. .

The man turned and looked at the wide front porch where my kids were holding the welcome wagon. Just my luck to have them squabbling loudly when our new neighbor was moving in.
As we moved to the driveway, I noticed he was a large man, broad and solid. I wore mom jeans with elastic at the waist, sneakers, and an oversized hoodie with a picture of our school mascot peeling from age. My hair was scraped back in its usual ponytail, and any scrap of makeup I had on from earlier today had worn off hours ago.
Please don’t be handsome too. Please don’t be handsome too, I prayed. It would be more of my luck to have a real hottie move in when I looked every bit of my age.
“I blocked you in, didn’t I?” His voice was deep and slightly accented with something European. Irish maybe? Ya ain’t from around here, are ya? floated through my mind in a deep Southern twang.
“Um… yeah. We were just leaving for the football game, and you’re makin’ us late,” Mattie told him. Not a shy bone in that kid’s body.
“Mattie, don’t be rude.”
The man didn’t seem to mind my son’s bold statement. “Sorry about that, lad. I didn’t realize you were leaving. Get on in your car there, and I’ll move my truck for you, yeah?”
As I got closer, his dark hair came into view. The lower half of his face sported a short beard of the same color. He wasn’t classically handsome, but he certainly wasn’t bad to look at either. His bright green eyes had small lines that radiated from them, making him around my age. He was definitely rugged, and his tanned skin made me think he worked outdoors a lot.
“Oy! Owen! Back out! These people have somewhere to be!” The man’s powerful yell made me jump.
The moving van jerked once as it reversed and backed into the street.
The man turned back to us. “I’ll park my truck on the street tonight, and we’ll figure out how to make it work later. Fair?”
“That’s very fair, Mister…?” I hedged.
“MacAteer. The name’s Connor MacAteer.” He held out a giant paw. Lord, the man was a bear!

I’ve had stories in my head since I was a child.  All sorts of stories of fantasy, romance, mystery and anything else that captured my interest.  I’m a voracious reader, and have spent many hours in my life devouring books, therefore it’s only fitting I should write a few myself!

I’ve spent most of my life as a performing musician and band instrument repair technician, but that doesn’t mean I’m pigeon-holed into one mold.  I’ve been a university professor, belly dancer, craftsperson, soap maker, singer, rock band artist, jewelry maker, lifeguard, swim coach, and whatever else I feel like exploring.  As one of my students said to me once, “Life’s too short to ignore the opportunities.”   I have no intention of ever stopping so welcome to my story world.  I hope you enjoy it!

Open International. a Rafflecopter giveaway   EXCERPT INDIE   “Did you have a best friend when you were a kid, Adam?” He didn’t look at me right away, just kept watching the football game. We had barbecued that afternoon. Hot dogs. I was still full from eating three. But eventually his eyes found mine. “What do you mean? Like… McKay?” “No. Did you have a girl like me when you were growing up here at Old Home? Or were you all alone?” It came out sadder than I meant it to. Because I didn’t want to imagine Adam all alone. It made my heart hurt. “I didn’t have a girl like you. Not until you came along. You’re one of a kind, Indie.” I chuckled. Because I knew he was saying it to make me chuckle. But there was a stab of pain in my chest when he said that. “I’m sorry, you know. For hitting you that day. I didn’t mean to hurt you.” His eyes went sad then. And I wanted to take it back. But I didn’t take it back. I couldn’t take it back. I had been wanting to tell him that since he woke up on Nate’s living room floor covered in blood. Finally, he sighed. “It’s just who you are, Indie.” His reply hurt me more than it soothed me. Because… was that girl who hit him in the head with a candlestick who I was? I gave him a brain injury. He almost died. And sure, by this time I had killed my share of people on different jobs. I had hurt more than that too. But I never wanted to hurt Adam. If McKay had not insisted on taking him to the emergency room, he would’ve died, or at the very least gone unconscious and never woken up again. His brain was swelling up and cutting off his oxygen flow. And even though he recovered, and by this time he was mostly back to normal physically, he had to have therapy for months afterward. And learn to say a few words all over again because his mouth didn’t quite work right. I did that to him. And I was very, very sorry. But the truth was… I didn’t actually remember doing it. I didn’t know how that candlestick got in my hand. I didn’t know how it struck Adam on the side of the head. I didn’t remember any of it. And that scared me. Really bad. And I wanted to tell this to Adam but I didn’t want him to worry about me or think I was losing it. Because I had heard Donovan talking to McKay and Adam over the years. He was always worried that one day I would ‘lose it’ and that’s why he’d been coming to talk to me since I was a little girl. So I didn’t lose it. So I could hold everything together in a tight, tight ball and never go insane. But I didn’t know how to say that. I should’ve started with this train of thought instead of ‘I’m sorry’. Because now it felt like the conversation was over. So I got up from my swing, walked over to Adam, and sat in his lap. And I hugged him. And then I was just… more sad than afraid. Because I had hugged McKay millions of times by this point in my life. And Donovan, a couple dozen, at least. But I had never, ever, not once, hugged Adam. Or thanked him for saving me from that snake. Or giving me this home. Or making sure I was taken care of by McKay. For saving my life in the early days of those jobs. Or anything else that he’d done for me since I first became his more than seven years ago. It took him almost a full minute to relax and put his arms around me, and hug me back. But when he did, something changed between us. We both felt it. And then his head turned and he kissed me on the cheek and pulled my face into his neck and whispered so softly, I could barely hear his words, “I love you, Indie. No matter what you do, I’m on your side, kid. Always and forever.” I stayed in his lap. Enjoying this new closeness between us. But then he slapped my leg and said, “Get up. I gotta go inside. Got some work to do before I go to sleep.” And I got up, and sat back down on my swing, and watched him walk away.     TEASERS CREEPING BEAUTIFUL QUOTES   “I was so hooked by this book. Blurb

For years, infertility followed me like a cloud.

But finally, the sun has risen.

Finally, I am pregnant.

Except now a new storm rages in the distance—one I have no choice but to pass through.

I have no idea if the child I’m carrying belongs to my husband … or to the man I’ve betrayed him with—a man I’ve come to love but whose name I don’t know.

What I do know is that I’m a cheat. A liar. Undeserving of this baby inside me.

I don’t know how this will end. But I do know it won’t be without casualties, because this is a story in which a true happy ending cannot exist.

A story of how my love for one grew into three but must end with only two.

Excerpt

Prologue

Pain relievers. You stare at the multitude of options at your fingertips, a whining toddler at your feet. Vitamins. I back away from them. Watch you ruffle the shock of blonde before taking the tiny hand that claws at your leg.

The commotion in the store falls silent. I’m paralyzed, my throat constricted, hands sweaty, eyes burning out of fear that I’ll blink and you’ll be gone.

You bite your lip, your eyes scanning the back of a box of Dimetapp before mumbling something to the girl. She is persistent. Throws a tantrum. You pick her up, my eyes trained on the strength of your arms — the muscular lines that cut across your skin.

You are beautiful.

“You ready?”

A small gasp leaves me as I force myself to look at my husband, all four chambers of my heart ripping as I wish for something else. “Yes,” I whisper, hand snatching up the nearest bottle of what I came here for, and allowing my hair to shield my face.

“Well, hurry up. I’m ready to go.”

Your head turns at the frost in his tone, the little girl now snug on your hip, snot glistening from her upturned nose. When our eyes connect, I surrender. A wave of longing erodes my veins, and I see the same in those tired eyes of yours. They widen at me, need and desire and understanding packaged beneath one bow.

I can smell a cheater from a mile away.

I know them because I am one. Once a cheater, always a cheater, right?

I want you.

And you … your scent is strong.

CHARMINGLY YOURS

For Rosemary Reynolds, life in tiny Morning Glory, Mississippi, is just like the fabric store she runs: it seems she’s always waiting around for someone else to make the first stitch. Then a dear childhood friend passes away, leaving behind a gift that sends Rosemary on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Despite her mother’s protests, Rosemary heads to New York City for a stay in her cousin’s trendy SoHo loft. On her first day in town, a wrong turn leads her to Little Italy…and into the arms of handsome, outgoing Sal Genovese. Sal’s mother wants him to marry a longtime family friend, but to him, Rosemary is a breath of fresh country air, and he’s happy to show her a good time. Soon, Rosemary is swept up in a world she thought only existed in movies. To turn a two-week fling into a forever thing, she and Sal will have to make every moment count.

PERFECTLY CHARMING

“A standout contemporary romance.” —USA Today’s Happy Ever After

Morning Glory native Jess Culpepper is desperate to get out of town after divorcing the only man she’s ever dated. She takes a temporary nursing job in Florida and, thanks to the bequest of her late friend, Lacy, has the funds to rent a condo right on the beach. She’s not prepared to literally trip over her old high school lab partner—and definitely not prepared for how deliciously hot he is now.

Ryan Reyes, once known as “The Brain,” has worked hard to become more than the skinny nerd that jocks bullied and girls politely tolerated. At twenty-six, he has retired from science to run a charter fishing business in Pensacola and spend his leisure time catching up on the debauchery he missed. But when the unattainable girl of his teenage fantasies moves in down the beach, old feelings come flooding back.

Their scorching attraction soon leads them into bed—but what starts as no-strings-attached fun is complicated by a return to Morning Glory and the shadows of their shared past. Can the head cheerleader and the geek redefine themselves and forge ahead to find their happily ever after?
