This is the second book in the Scars Series. This one more about Morningstar. We see Lucifer is building his relationship with his son, but still has a hard time so his feelings. When Lucy ends up in the hospital and Adam treats him you can start to see the sparks fly. When the plaque is unleashed Lucy must find a way to start it, even ask helping from his father and they Gabriel. This was a wonderful twist of the story. you will not be disappointed this is a must read today

This is book 2 in Don’t Ask Don’t Tell Series. Jordan has been knocking down many times with loss of friends, lovers and injuries. We get to see the journey that Jordan takes to overcomes his PTSD. When he meets Deejay things start to look a little brighter at the end of the road. Ron not sure what he is feeling for Jordan and things take a twist in the road. This story was written beautifully about the struggles some have and to show that there is that special someone waiting for them. Highly recommend this book today

Rolling my eyes, I replied. “Well I’m not like most women who lose their mind over someone’s fame. Fame can lead to a big ego and I’m no ego-stroker. I definitely don’t have any kind of ridiculous crush on Chase Brighton.”

She seemed satisfied by my response. “Good, because I need this to work out. So as I said, you would be taking care of Chase’s three year old daughter, Ivy. We’re going on tour, you see, and he wouldn’t agree to go unless she came with us.”

“That’s understandable. So I would be babysitting her.”

Claire nodded. “More like a live-in nanny.”

“Wait a minute, do you mean I would be going on tour too?”

“Yep, that’s the job.”

I leaned back in my chair and let out a breath. “Wow that is a lot to take in.”

“You think you know me?” The words and tone said something different than the playfulness dancing in Dr. Adams’s eyes as he lifted a single brow.
Yeah, in another place and time, that look would have been sexy as hell. Now though, wasn’t that time. “No, I don’t know you, not at all. I don’t even know people like you, so I don’t know how to guess. It’s why I have to ask.”

I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I’ll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died – weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn’t have to be alone.

That time in my life was terrible. It’s everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.
