When Jordan James goes on a holiday ski vacation with his friend Dave to Park City, Utah, he’s excited for some time off from work, and a few days of skiing. After Dave skies off without him, leaving him at the top of a run that is far beyond his skill level, Jordan takes a chance. When things go bad fast, he’s left with little choice but to call for help.
Trace Griffin has worked for the ski patrol at Park City for the past few years. He enjoys the freedom it gives him, the fact that he’s on the mountain all day, and helping people is a big part of who he is. When a call comes in to ski patrol, about a skier in trouble at the top of the mountain, he doesn’t hesitate. When he finds Jordan injured and bordering on hypothermia he gets right to work and with help from his partner they rush him down the mountain.
