Award-winning author of contemporary and fantasy romance. With Jill’s books, you can count on confident heroines, plenty of steamy tension, and deliciously assertive leading men. There are no guarantees in life, but with her books, you know everything will work out in the end. However, a perfect ending would not be nearly as satisfying without a seemingly insurmountable challenge. Jill loves to add plenty of adversity in her stories, creating unforgettably dynamic characters and sneaky plot twists you will never see coming.

Kane Easton isn’t friend material.
He’s a master manipulator.
No one understands why I give him such a hard time.
They can’t see past his flawless exterior, but I know he’s keeping a secret—
something he’ll protect with absolute ruthlessness.
He thinks I’ll fall in line with the rest of Xavier High.
Believes he can kiss me into submission.
He has no idea what he’s up against.
I may be the youngest Genovese, but I’ve learned from my family.
I’ll make Kane regret the day he ever crossed my path.

Finally, Kane broke the tension with a murmured confession rife with turmoil. “Maybe it’s best if you hate me.” The words were barely loud enough for me to hear, but their impact rocketed through me, crumbling the resolute foundation I’d stood upon.
“Best for who?” I breathed. My emotions were so tangled that I wasn’t sure how I’d feel even if I could understand what Kane was trying to tell me.
Something dark—a ravenous hunger—flashed behind his eyes just before his lips collided with mine. I breathed him in, instantly clutching his shirt to keep him close as my tongue tangled with his. He kept his hands anchored to the wall on either side of me but pressed his chorded body against me so that I could feel just how affected he was. The taste of his whiskey mouth and the press of his marbleized hardness molded to my soft curves made my head spin beyond the effects of alcohol, but it was the knowledge that I caused him to lose all self-control that liquified my insides.
Kane, the unflappable man who shrugged his way through life was off balance because of me. I did this. Something about me drove him absolutely wild. While his lips were devouring mine, I ignored the part about how he hated that loss of control.
When he pulled away, chest heaving with ragged breaths, his eyes widened with shock and horror. The disgust on his face doused my veins in buckets of ice. At that point, the truth couldn’t be ignored.
He hated what he felt for me.
His reaction made me feel dirty and wrong, and I hated him for that.
He took a single step back, spun and put his fist through the sheetrock with a string of cursed expletives. White dust and particulates scattered across the wood floor opposite me. My hand flew to my mouth, but Kane paid me no mind. He shook out his hand then stormed down the hall without a backward glance.

When I finally see him, my heart ceases to beat.
There, standing on my front porch in all of his masculine beauty, is Yeo Anderson. He’s clearly been working out because his usual tall, slender form is slightly filled out. His upper arms and chest are leaner. More defined. The white button-up shirt he dons fits him like it would a GQ model. His black tie is sleek and thin, the color matching his slacks perfectly. He wears a shiny pair of dress shoes. Clean, polished, and without a single scuff. Just like the boy himself.
Yeo looks expensive.
I don’t remember him looking this expensive.
Swallowing, I flit my gaze down to my Walmart dress. I look inexpensive.
“Kadydid.” His nickname for me is a whisper. I like whispers. He knows this. “You look beautiful. Even more so than I remember.”
At this, I lift my eyes to meet his heated brown ones. He lifts up a dark eyebrow and smiles. Yeo’s smiles are blinding and brilliant and perfect. The boy—no—the man dizzies me and confuses me whenever he’s near. I can’t stay locked up inside my head because he’s too busy distracting me by working his way into my heart.
“It’s been so long…” I trail off, tears forming in my eyes.
He takes a step forward. Then another. And then his fingertips are brushing a stray brown strand of hair away from my cheek. His touch jolts me to life. Electrifies my entire being. Resuscitates my dead soul. When he dips down, I can’t help but lean in to him. To inhale his new scent. It’s unfamiliar, yet still smells like him. More masculine. Older. Wiser. Yum.
And then his fingers are on me. Touching me. Owning me. Distracting me. The words I was going to say fizzle and fade as the fire that only we create rages back to life. A fire I’d assumed died after over a decade.
He was supposed to find a new life.
A new girlfriend. A wife even.
Move far the hell away from me.
Yet, here he is. His fingers curling around the back of my neck. His lips flitting over my ear, whispering secrets before brushing along my cheek, and finally crushing my own mouth. My gasp of relief is my only response—my only confirmation that what he’s doing is okay—before he’s kissing me like the world might end tomorrow. Hell, I’d want it to if it meant I could continue to kiss him just like this until that time.
Tricky Tracks: A Holeshot Novel
Recovery has never been so complicated.
It’s difficult enough to recover from a potentially career ending wreck, but Cole has to do it in front of a camera. Add in that the sexy videographer, Nix, has more than Cole’s tires spinning and it’s more than problematic. Facing the truth and redeeming himself for his past actions is trickier than making a good comeback for a team that doesn’t want him.
Nix Braumere is making a great career out of filming sports stars, and his friend, Jason, has him working on a Supercross documentary focusing on injuries, particularly, Cole Lindt’s. Making the hot racer the star of his show wasn’t supposed to wreck his heart. But Cole’s grouchy front obviously hides a world of pain that Nix wants to ease.
