I’m not a good man.
I’m the darkness, the danger, the enforcer behind the empire.
No one sees me unless I want them to.

Vicious Prince, an all-new dark standalone romance from USA Today bestselling author Sienna Snow, is available now!

I’m not a good man.
I’m the darkness, the danger, the enforcer behind the empire.
No one sees me unless I want them to.

Then one day, she found me, showing me a life beyond the shadows of the streets. Until one wrong turn and our fairytale shattered, leaving me back in darkness. In a place I can only reach her by destroying her world.

I glanced at my reflection in the mirror along a wall of the home gym. One half of my body was nothing like it had been. I was no longer the pretty boy with the baby face my brothers loved to rag on me about until I punched them.
Now I was a reconstructed puzzle of skin, pins, and bone.
A work of modern medicine.
I touched the not-quite-normal left ear reconstructed from pieces of rib, cartilage, and skin. Then, I traced along the jagged scars that ran from my temple, over my eye, my cheek, and down my jaw. The physical changes only gave a glimpse of what I’d become after the accident.
I’d lived in my head for so long. In the chaos of the crash and the aftermath. In the pain.
God, there had been so much pain. I’d been on the verge of madness. First, just surviving and then trying to learn basic things like eating without looking like a fucking toddler. After that had come the rehab when I’d begged for my brothers just to kill me and finish the job the wreck hadn’t done. But the hardest part had been the mental toll. I’d become a shell of the man I’d been.
I’d lost my way.
When an enforcer had no strength, he had nothing. He was worthless. To his brothers and especially his wife. Locking myself up with my painkillers had been the only solution. Or so I’d convinced myself. I’d turned into a raging addict and the worst version of myself.
“I’m going to tell her that I was fucked up in the head after the accident, that I was worthless to her and everyone, that I believed it was better she thought I was dead than for her to live with what I had become, that it was my shortcoming, not hers, for the decisions I made. That I was a coward and afraid she wouldn’t be able to look at the monster I’d become.”
“It’s good to hear you sounding like the old Kir again. No bullshit. Owns his part and is willing to accept the consequences.”
“Yeah, I’m finally doing what everyone wanted me to do. I’m getting my head out of my ass.”
“She’s going to give you hell.”
“I expect nothing less.”
“When are you going to do it?”
“Tonight. Jayna is heading to her mom’s after work, according to the itinerary she gave her security. I thought I’d go over there. That way, if she freaks out, her mom can handle it.”
“Monica is going to kick your ass too.”
My mother-in-law was one of the kindest people I knew, and she’d endured hell with her ex-husband. Now that she’d created a new life, she’d found her voice and had no problem using it, just like her daughter.
“I know.”
“And what will you do if Jayna can’t accept your apology?”
“I’ll work my ass off to win her back.”
“Does this also mean you’re coming back and finally doing your job like you’re supposed to?”
“I have been doing my job, asshole.”
“Yeah, behind a desk. Like a pussy. We need you out and about. Fewer idiots to deal with if they know you’ll come to collect. You’re the boogeyman of the King brothers. They don’t call you the vicious prince for nothing.”

Arrogance kills faster than blades.

Money. Power. Countless lovers.

In his monotonous life as a drug lord, Gustavo has seen and done it all and has long forgotten the taste of excitement.

Things change when he watches a man murder and take the victim’s heart.

Leaving behind a bloody crime scene, the killer flees and makes Gustavo a dangerous witness and the sole holder of all the evidence.

Drunk on a toxic mix of fascination and morbid curiosity, Gustavo places his life at stake and enters the murderer’s twisted world to play a game of dare for the thrill of it. But the more he plays with Seth, the deeper he sinks into a web of attraction.

How far can he tempt Death before Death strikes back?

Welcome to the dark world of Malicious Gods: Egypt. A collection of standalone modern tales, both magical and non-magical, featuring deities from Ancient Egypt. You’ll find reincarnated Gods, assassins, gangs, madness, and different realities. Expect high heat and morally ambiguous themes. Seductive and often twisted, they are not for the fainthearted.

NOT a romance (at least not a traditional one), Zero redeeming qualities, Serial killer, Drug lord, Obsession, Fire play, BDSM, Severe depression, Asexual character, Blood art, Blood, gore, God complex, Mass murder, Graphic murder, Dark humor, The Three Kings’ World. Yep, this is Gustavo’s story.

Gustavo’s muscles trembled as the heel of his shoe lost contact with the ground. His head hovered over the molten glass as Seth’s hips rammed against his own. His awareness shifted to the lower part of his body. Confusion washed over, as he wasn’t sure if the source of the heat was the molten glass or Seth’s thrusting against him. He could even feel the softness of Seth’s cock brushing against his thigh. He swallowed hard. Catching Seth’s glare, he said, “A fair warning: if you keep rubbing against me like this, I’ll get a hard-on.”

Seth’s face contorted in distaste. Fire dancing in his eyes, he leaned against Gustavo with all his weight, chest to chest. “You should have pulled the gun when you had a chance.”

With a roar, Gustavo hurled forward, winning back an inch of lost space. Seth’s teeth bared, and a low, barely audible growl broke from his throat. His neck corded, muscles bulged, and even the veins under his eyes strained with pressure. Gustavo thought that any moment now, his eyeballs would pop out of their sockets. He shook his head, unable to believe how someone like Seth could possess such strength. Gustavo was taller, bulkier, had more mass, but still, inch by inch, his back bent over the rim of the charger. His skin felt like it would start sizzling at any moment; hot sweat rolled down his temples and spine.

“I warned you it’s not a blade that kills but arrogance,” Seth rustled.

The edge of the furnace scraped the small of Gustavo’s back. Seth’s face inched closer, and his right hand abandoned Gustavo’s chest to grab the side of the shutter before he thrust himself forward. The tiny blood vessels in his right eye burst, staining the sclera red.

Does he hate me this much? Gustavo thought, stunned.

“I do enjoy this intimacy, but you are aware that in this position, it’s nearly impossible to throw me down without falling with me, right? Not that I mind. It would be sort of romantic. And they died on the same day, just like Romeo and Juliet.”

Seth laughed; his left palm slapped against the inner wall of the furnace, giving him a fulcrum. “We shall see about that.”

He shoved forward with renewed force. The stench of burned meat filled Gustavo’s lungs. He looked at Seth’s hand and the steam rising from it. “What the fuck are you doing? Are you insane?”

“Insanity is a tasteless word humanity forever uses to taint what they can’t understand.” Seth stared at Gustavo with the unblinking eyes of a snake. His expression didn’t display any pain or discomfort.

Gustavo should have struggled for his life; he knew it. Instead, he grabbed Seth’s wrist and yanked it away from the scorching metal. “You are insane if you think killing me is worth mutilating your hand. How are you going to work with such burns?”

Seth froze. Confusion pooled behind his dilated pupils. He looked at Gustavo as if seeing him for the first time. His onslaught weakened.

It was a perfect moment to pull the gun, but the expression of ultimate loneliness, bleeding through Seth’s unsettled emotions, overruled Gustavo’s sanity. The sole of his foot found the wall behind him; he thrust his chest forward and brushed his lips against Seth’s mouth, pushing him away from the scorching heat.

Vet Shop Boys, Book 1

It’s just a one-night stand, they said. It’ll be simple, no-strings fun, they said. They. Lied.

I’m done with love and being broken-hearted. The only dogs I want to deal with are the ones I treat in the veterinary clinic I work at.

But at thirty-four, having my first one-night stand can’t hurt. Right? The rules are pretty simple.

1. Don’t spend the night. 2. Don’t see him again. 3. Don’t share anything personal. 4. Don’t fall in love with him.

But when Haze, the guy I spent a blazing hot night with and haven’t been able to forget about, shows up as our new receptionist, the rules fly out the window.

There’s no way one night could lead to anything more. So why has Haze got me hoping this might just last?

Got Me Hoping is book 1 in the Vet Shop Boys series and can be read as a stand-alone. Expect plenty of humor, found family, an adorable golden retriever, a foul-mouthed parrot, a whole new way of getting clean (as well as very, very dirty) and a heartwarming happily ever after!

All my bravado from the bar last night is gone. All that’s left are memories of an incredible night colliding with the bleary morning light of the day after. His eyes soften, and he leans in toward me right as I glance over at the table. Oh, shit. Noah was going to kiss me. I turn, inching my lips closer to his face just as he starts to move toward the kitchen. He backs up, but trips over his feet.

Not. Awkward. At. All.

“Plates,” I say, slapping my hands against my thighs way too hard. “Let me help you get some plates.” Yeah, because carrying two plates a few feet is definitely a two-man operation.

A few moments later, we start eating. I ended up carrying both plates and bringing the cutlery, too…so, that’s a good thing? Man, I really suck at this. There’s a reason why I never spend the night.

I haven’t had many hookups since Daniel broke up with me. With other guys, it’s always been sex followed by a quick goodbye. I never hung around afterward. One time I showered and watched half an episode of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, but that’s about it.

But for some reason with Noah, there’s a part of me that doesn’t want to leave. It makes no sense. We glance up at each other every so often while we eat, sharing a silent exchange that I can’t explain.

The only sound in the kitchen is us chewing and Buddy breathing loudly at Noah’s feet. I liked it a whole lot more when other sounds were filling the space around us. But I guess that’s all in the past. Once we get through the nominee for Most Awkward Breakfast at the One-Night Stand Awards, that’s all this will ever be.

A memory.

My heart sinks at the thought.

About the Author

I’ve been wanting to do this ‘authoring’ thing since forever. But this thing called ‘life’ kept getting in the way. And then this thing called ‘turning 40’ happened. Eep!

So I did what any responsible newcomer to middle-age-hood would do: I quit my day job, started drinking copious amounts of coffee, and reconnected with my life long passion–donuts, er, I mean writing.

So here I am. And there you are… Hello!

I live on the east coast of Australia, I’m the proud paw-rent of two of the most utterly adorable French Bulldogs, Ralphie and Lilly, and when I’m not writing, you’ll most likely catch me down at the beach (I’m the one drinking Rosé and eating donuts while other people are doing healthy things like ‘walking’ and ‘swimming’).

Friendly Fire Ebook FINAL

A Never Just Friends Novel, Book 4

Rafe It started in high school. We grew apart. Bit by bit, then all at once. The friend who was my ride or die suddenly wanted nothing to do with me. Now Cam’s back from college, living in the house next door, and pulling stupid pranks just to annoy me. Between my intense family and my failing relationship, I’m struggling enough without his antics. But Cam won’t go away. And I’m not so sure I want him to.

Cam It started with a smile. A touch. A shared look of mischief. Rafael Ortega stole my heart before I realised it was mine to give away. We were best friends from the time we were in diapers right up until the unthinkable happened: he started dating. I put distance between us to save myself, but now I’m back, willing to do anything for his attention again. Because the only thing worse than Rafe breaking my heart… Is him not getting a chance to.

Friendly Fire is the final book in the Never Just Friends series. It’s a low angst childhood-best-friends-to-lovers romance with skinny dipping, sex toys, and one final happily ever after.

“So what are we watching?” Rafe drops onto the cushion next to mine, and I hate that he can’t do something as simple as that without my breath catching. Someone needs to turn the hose on me. “Dunno. There has to be a series or something that looks interesting.” “You want to start a series with me, Rafe? Wow. That sounds like a big commitment, and I’m not sure our relationship is ready.” He blinks at me. I grin. “Kidding. Obviously. Carry on.” He’s quiet as he scrolls through the options, and I notice him glance at me from the corner of his eye a couple of times. “What?” He jumps at being caught. “Just thinking.” “About?” “Whether your mouth has always been so out of control.” “There’s a lot about my mouth you don’t know.” Rafe shakes his head. “I walked into that one, didn’t I?” “Less walked and more steam rolled, but yep.” I adjust my baseball cap, then point at the screen. “You’re still as indecisive as ever.” He huffs and tosses me the remote. “You choose.” “Fine.” I hit play on some Sci-Fi show he’d hesitated over. We get through most of the first episode before he speaks again. “Is this weird?” I know he’s talking about us. Being here. The space between us. So many things are rolled into that one question that I hesitate on how to answer at first. “Oh yeah.” Might as well agree. “I think we’ve well and truly passed that line.” “At least it’s not just me.” “Why do you think it’s so weird? We spent most of our lives together, but for some reason the last few years are the ones that seem to count.” He frowns. “I don’t think that’s it.” “What do you mean?” “Well, I think they only count, because the ones before them counted more. Maybe. Does that even make sense?” “I think so.” “Like …” He tugs at his hoodie sleeve, looking unsure. “Even though this feels weird, I’m still glad I’m here.” That smooth motherfucker. This is a serious conversation. I shouldn’t be smiling. I shouldn’t. “Me too.” “Which makes it weirder.” He lets out a frustrated sound. “Shouldn’t I be making excuses to bail, instead of wishing things could go back to how they were?” Every word he’s saying lightens some of that pressure on my heart. Maybe we’re not doomed. Maybe our friendship really can be given a jumpstart. “I wonder if your need to be here is the same as mine.” He looks up at me, pinning me with those dark eyes that I can’t stop dreaming about. “Which is?” “I missed you.”

For Him, Book 3

I never meant for any of this to happen, to fall for you. It doesn’t matter that we’re both adults, or how much we want this to work. The college policy is clear. I can’t see a way around this without one of us getting hurt. If I would’ve known who you were when we met online, I would have never pursued a relationship. I’m new to all of this, and besides my daughter, getting to know you has been the best thing to ever happen to me. But I can’t make you hide again. I won’t. It’s not fair to either of us.

Deepest regrets,

Dear Mr. Brody,

You’re right, we are adults. I’m twenty-four years old, and I think I can decide for myself what’s best for me. If this is about you losing your job, I’ll walk away. But if this is you trying to protect me, then you’re an idiot. I want you. I care about you. My past isn’t an issue. What we’re doing… it isn’t the same thing. If we have to hide, so be it. I’m not ready to let you go.

Your Lost Boy,

With Anne only a few feet away inside, I should have stopped him. But my heart was all over the place, the adrenaline in my system overriding my common sense. He cupped the back of my neck, his firm fingers releasing all my anxiety as his lips tasted mine. I fisted my hand in his t-shirt, closing the space between us, and he backed me into the door, smiling against my mouth when I groaned. “Hi,” he whispered before pulling my bottom lip through his teeth. “As much as I love a good public display of affection, are you going to invite me in sometime tonight?” I rested my forehead against his. “My daughter is here.” “No shit?” He dropped his hands from my waist and nearly fell off the porch as he tried to put as much space between us as possible. “Lanie tried to call me, but I was in the shower, and I didn’t check my phone.” I raked a hand through my hair. “She has to work, and her parents are sick. I didn’t know what to do, and I wanted to call you, but—” “Breathe,” he said, his lips lifting into a lopsided smile. “It’s not the end of the world.” “You’re right… We can have dinner another time.” But now that he was here, I didn’t want him to leave. Why did my life have to be this goddamn complicated? “Oh… sure, yeah… another time,” he said, shoving his hands into his back pockets. “Wait… do you want to stay?” “Why would I want to leave?” he asked, his smile playful. “I’m capable of keeping my hands to myself long enough to have dinner with you and your daughter. I’m not a total heathen.” “I thought…” I stuttered. “Isn’t it too soon?” “To meet Anne? That’s up to you.” He exhaled, his hands falling to his sides. “I can’t make that decision.” When Lanie and I had separated, I worried Anne would get attached to her mother’s boyfriends. Not in a jealous way either. I didn’t want a revolving door of people coming in and out of her life while Lanie and I tried to live our own lives. But Anne didn’t have to know the specifics of my relationship with Parker. She was ten. And as long as Parker and I were appropriate, she’d think he was one of my friends. “I’m not ready to come out to Anne,” I said. “But, if you’re okay with being in the friend zone while she’s here, I’d love for you to meet her.” “I can handle that.” Parker took the bottom hem of my shirt between his thumb and forefinger, his candid blue eyes searched mine. “Can I be honest?” “Please.” “I love kids, don’t get me wrong. But I’m nervous. What if I do something I shouldn’t, like swear or—” “I swear all the time. Lanie and I have never been PG-parents.” He laughed and leaned close enough I could feel his breath on my lips. “It’s going to be hard not touching you tonight.” “It’ll be good practice for tomorrow when we’re in class.” “Can I kiss you again before we go inside?” Pulling me into his strong arms, he pressed his chest against me as I nodded. My heart thundered, a shiver spreading over my skin as his mouth melded to mine. The kiss was messy and fast, and when he pulled away, I licked my lips, savoring the sweet taste he’d left behind. “Do you like mushrooms?” I asked and he laughed, the deep rumble of it vibrated against me. “Not particularly.” “What about waffles?” “Who doesn’t like waffles?” I smiled, his answer lifting the weight off my shoulders. “I think you and Anne will get along just fine.”
