LIBERATOR – someone who sets a person free from imprisonment or oppression.

Grigsby Myers had one goal growing up: never want for anything. He’s dedicated his whole life to achieving financial freedom at the cost of finding someone to grow old with.

On his 30th birthday, he finally obtains everything he’s ever wanted, along with the realization that he has no one special to share this milestone with. Other than his acquaintances at Cypher, a private gentlemen’s club he belongs to, that is.

But now, there’s a new addition to the club, and her name is Starr. Something about her calls to him, even though it is apparent she doesn’t belong in a place like that. Without speaking to her, he senses something special about Starr—a pureness he needs in this life.

One night everything changes and finds Grigsby leaving Cypher without looking back. Distance and time could erase one night’s wrong decision… or so he thought.

Five years later, a dead man’s last request comes in the form of a letter forcing him and Starr to meet once again. Neither of them expected the secret it revealed. Will this new information have Grigsby liberating Starr from her ties to Cypher or have him running further away than he was before?

K.L. Myers was born in West Berlin, Germany while her father was stationed there. She spent her childhood moving from continent to continent finally landing permanently in Colorado when her father retired. Eventually, K.L. moved to “hell”, aka Arizona where she resides with her husband & their fur babies. She has 2 grown daughters & 3 Grandchildren.

KL has a passion for reading and writing hot romance when she isn’t juggling family & a full-time job.

Her books & novellas show a pension for a bad boy with a heart of gold. Coupling her bad boys with strong, independent women who don’t need rescuing, and just maybe a taste of naughty redemption! Her characters will pull you in & leave you satiated, yet panting for more, more, MORE!

THE PLAN by Karla Sorensen

Release Date: February 9

Have you ever fake dated your bodyguard? I don’t recommend it.

Especially if he’s anything like Erik Wilder: former football player, world class know-it-all and unapologetic grump.

To be clear, I didn’t want a bodyguard (hence the fake dating idea). Most days, I can’t figure out why he wants the job either. We drive each other insane, probably because we’re as opposite as two people can be.

He’s suspicious, never talks about his past and has the comfort skills of a cactus. I’m a happily ever after kinda girl who knows exactly what she wants out of life.

Erik’s words might say that the lines have to stay firm between us, but those dark eyes of his? They tell another story when he looks at me.

He’s just as stubborn as I am, but when our fake dating plan starts to feel a lot more real, it’s only a matter of time before his professional walls come crashing down.

I just have to hope my heart doesn’t get buried in the rubble.

Well, let’s see … I’m a wife and a mother. If the things that I write bring a smile to someone’s face, then I’ve done my job.

I am obsessed with Outlander (both the books and the show). I’m almost exclusively a romance reader, which means some people will never consider me a literary snob.

If I could meet one historical figure, it would be Jane Austen. I received my Bachelors in Public Relations and worked in health care marketing before I had my babies.

I hate Twitter. I do it, but I hate it. Also, if you want to get on my good side, bring me wine and I’ll love you forever.

Thick as Thieves, an all-new friends-to-lovers mm romance from USA Today bestselling author Lucy Lennox is coming March 1st and we have the incredible cover!

I’ve been in love with my best friend since forever. Okay, fine. Like, kindgergarten. It started out platonic, obviously, but then became… nope. Still platonic. The problem is that Parker Ellis has been straight since forever. And that makes it difficult to convince him the two of us are meant to be together.

And now there’s no point. All is lost. He’s gone and gotten engaged to his high-school sweetheart which means I have to grin and bear it while pretending to be the happy, supportive best man while he prepares to commit his life to a woman I can’t even fault. She’s great. We’ve all been friends forever. I know he’ll be happy with Erin, just not… just not as happy as he could be with me.

I’ll admit. Sometimes I press the easy button. Like when Julian Thick had offered me half his sandwich back in grade school after noticing I didn’t have any food. Or when I’d needed a date to homecoming in tenth grade and Erin told me she was it. Or when I’d used the one thing that came easy to me, skiing, to get my college tuition paid for. Or when Erin had showed back up in my life six months ago and told it was time to marry and start a family…

But for the first time in my life I’m facing something that’s not at all easy. It’s my wedding weekend and I’ve just been left at the altar. Not only that, but when my best friend whisks me away to drown my sorrows in a snowy cabin in Aster Valley, I accidentally discover Julian’s been keeping secrets. Big secrets.

The kind of secrets that lead to hot experimental kisses in front of a blazing fire, tenative physical exploration in a way I’d never imagined before, and the kind of intimate, true confessions I’d never even dreamed of between me and the one person who’s always been my true home.

But after twenty-plus years of thinking of Jules as my friend without benefits, is it truly possible to change who we are to each other? There’s no easy button this time, but I’m willing to do the work. I only wonder if Julian is ready to trust I really mean it.

I was never meant to meet her, let alone love her.

Theodora Wright. My family’s enemy.

And now my wife.

From the first glance, I was mesmerized by her sage green eyes and the secrets lurking within. At that moment, revenge was the furthest thing from my mind. All I wanted to do was save my family’s ranch–and keep her safe.

I thought giving Theo a place to stay for a night would be all I had to do.
I never expected to marry her.

I never thought I’d yearn for the sound of her laughter or the sight of her smile, never thought I’d crave the feel of her skin on mine.

I never bargained for the passion that burns out of control between us, wild and wanton and searingly hot.

I’m falling for her, but she doesn’t trust me.
And as the days turn to weeks, I’m fighting a gnawing dread that I’ll wake up one morning and she’ll be gone.

Because once she learns my secrets–and the greatest deception of all–I know she’ll have no reason to stay.

I stood, panting and feeling like I was going to hyperventilate as the most gorgeous man I had ever seen stared at me like I had five heads. How had my cousins maneuvered me to stand beside him? Why had he taken pity on me? I shivered again, not from cold, but from the latent heat I saw in his beautiful blue eyes.

He stood tall, so much taller than my five feet eight. He towered over me, sheltering me with his large shoulders and his fierce protectiveness. I hadn’t felt like this since…I pushed that thought away. Those thoughts never helped.

He’d asked me to trust him. He swore I was safe with him. What kind of simple-minded fool believed a complete stranger? I knew what could happen. At best I could be raped. At worst, murdered. I stared up into his gaze, looking deeply into his eyes, and it seemed as though he understood the uncertainty and trepidation I felt. Glancing over my shoulder, I saw the large room with the frolicking party, and an all-consuming fear filled me at having to return there. At having to see my cousins again.

“Please,” I whispered, my voice breaking and emerging even more scratchy than usual. “Take me away from here.”

He nodded, the tension easing from his shoulders as his fingers clasped mine again. A tall man, he matched his strides to mine, aware of my inability to walk quickly in high heels. Would a murderer be so considerate? my racing mind asked.

We walked a fair distance, the path cleared of snow and ice and lit well enough that it appeared romantic rather than eerie. Still, I held onto his hand. When he turned onto a smaller path leading to one of the prestigious private cabins, I balked. “Who are you?” I whispered.

He chuckled, giving my hand a tug and urging me to continue to follow him. After extracting a key, he led me inside, turning on a few lamps. “Sit,” he murmured, motioning to a large, overstuffed chair with ottoman. I sank into the comfortable chair, sighing with relief as I kicked off my shoes. When I saw him watching me with frank amusement, I blushed and moved my feet around, trying to find my shoes again.

“Leave them off. You should relax.” After draping a throw blanket over me, he moved to the fireplace and set a match to the wood waiting to be lit. Unbuttoning the top buttons of his shirt, he turned to face me. “You are an enigma.”

I blushed and shrugged as I huddled under the blanket. Although I was no longer cold, I relished the sense of security it offered. Perhaps it was fleeting, but I would cling to it. “I’m as much of a mystery as a box of chocolates.”

He laughed, the full-throated, deep sound sparking tingles throughout parts of me I wished would remain dormant forever. My gaze roved over him, suddenly realizing my assessment of him as gorgeous didn’t begin to do him justice. His thick, black hair was longer than the preppy haircuts I saw some men wear in town, but not so long as to tie back. A shadow of a beard—hinting that he needed to shave twice a day—enhanced his dark, good looks. Through his thin dress shirt, I saw muscles tighten in his chest as he swiped his hands together, and I suddenly wished one of those hands was still touching me.

“Now I wish I knew what that flush was for,” he murmured.

“Why did you help me tonight?” I asked, tucking my legs up tight against my bottom. If I had any sense, I’d run out of this private cottage and find a way back to my room at the resort or to my uncle’s house in town. Right now, my common sense was on vacation. In Fiji.

He sobered and stood. After studying me for a long moment, he moved to a nearby chair and sat down. Rather than curling into it and making himself comfortable, as I had, he sat on the edge of it, leaning toward me. “You were in distress. Someone wanted to shame you.”

My breath caught. “How…?” I shook my head, unwilling to say more as I fought a tidal wave of embarrassment.

“How did I know?” He clasped his hands together and looked at the scuffed wood floor. “I know because no woman ever goes to a bar with the desire of acting like Lady Godiva. Not unless she’s drunk or high. And the woman I saw entering the bar tonight,”—he nodded at me—“was neither.”

“I’m surprised you noticed me,” I said in a tart voice.

He shrugged. “I can imagine you are. You take great pains to remain invisible, don’t you?”

I’ve been too busy to keep up with most pop culture things the last few years. Between keeping the last shreds of my family together and trying to pay my bills, sleep and work have been the only constants. I should have known Hudson Meadows wasn’t some nobody off the street, but I didn’t.

Waking up married is a…surprise. I figure it’ll be a PR nightmare for a musician like Hudson who has been chasing stardom and is finally finding it. More shocking than the rock on my finger is Hudson telling me he doesn’t want to annul this sham. He says I’m his? Maybe fame has gone to his head.

I should have known better. I’ve seen it time and time again. What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas, especially when there’s an “I do” involved.

Fame isn’t what I thought it would be when I was just a naïve kid with a song in my heart and the dreams of stage lights in my eyes. Now, knowing the other side, it’s a little lonely and hollow. Meeting Felicity is like waking up for the first time.

I don’t remember exactly how I did it, but I convinced the woman meant for me to sign her name on the dotted line and let me slip a ring on her finger. White Picket Fence Records isn’t thrilled about my impromptu wedding, but I don’t care. She’s my wife and it’s going to stay that way.

Vows were said and I’m a man of my word. Felicity might not believe or understand it, but I’m not letting her go. She’s leaving Vegas with me, and I won’t be taking no for an answer.

18+. If you like alpha heroes and an insta-love story that is sweet and spicy but isn’t necessarily simple, then this is for you. No cheating with a guaranteed HEA. It is a standalone but is related to my Denver Family series (Banks Ink., Suburban Outcasts and Higgins Security). Meet Hudson in Faking Her Home (Banks Ink. Book 6).

One impulsive, passionate week changed my life.

The hot Italian with the full lips and inked skin.

The passionate man who made me feel incredible until I realized it was all a sham.

Because he lied.

About his name.

About everything.

Now, I’m not only pregnant with his child but thrust into the spotlight.

His stare was intense, trapping me in his molten gaze. The air swirled with possibility, with desire and longing. We stared at each other a moment, the tension stretching between us like a rubber band on the verge of snapping.

He took a few steps back, testing the breaking point. Despite the distance, our bodies remained connected, tethered by some invisible link. As much as I tried to deny it, one look had me desperate for him. And judging from his clenched jaw and tightened fists, he felt it too. He was fighting it too. Fighting and failing.

It felt as if I was standing at crossroads. I could tell him I could manage and do it myself. Or I could have a little fun. This was vacation after all. And it had been so long since I’d had sex. Too long. I’d been so focused on work and getting pregnant that I hadn’t had time for much else.

Screw the three-date rule. It wasn’t like it had served me well in the past. And it definitely wasn’t now.

I let the sheet fall to my waist, the material opening to reveal more of my legs. I was naked, and Enzo eyed me hungrily. When he stepped between my thighs, I knew he was going to kiss me. I also knew I wasn’t going to stop him. But I didn’t realize how it would feel when he wound his fist in my hair, his lips crashing against mine, bruising, punishing, claiming.

Enzo kissed like a man possessed, and I was dizzy, delirious, lost. I’d never been kissed like this.

My body was on fire, and I wanted to burn. I didn’t fear the flames; I wanted to become them. I wanted to be reborn as something new. He’d called me uccellina, little bird—but in this moment, I felt more like a phoenix.

He kissed down my neck, grazing my shoulder with his teeth. He skimmed his lips over my nipples, and I nearly combusted. He smoothed a hand up my thigh, edging closer to my center. To where I really wanted him. Everything about his touch radiated strength and control.

Outside, the waves crashed against the shore, and I could feel the tide surge within me, seeking release.

“More,” I groaned when he nipped my skin. It wasn’t gentle, but I didn’t want gentle.

“You like that?” he asked, his tone conveying surprise.

I nodded, biting back a grin. His dark smile made me shiver in anticipation as he dove back in, scraping his teeth along my shoulder.

I reached inside his robe, eager to explore, to feel him without anything between us. I was greeted by velvet skin wrapped around his hard length. And the most decadent moan I’d ever heard.

Uccellina,” he growled, gripping the back of my neck and forcing me to meet his gaze. His eyes were hooded, voice gruff. “Che cosa mi stai facendo?

“What am I doing…?” I trailed off, my brain too distracted to attempt translating. To me, it sounded beautiful, lyrical. It was almost as if his words were weaving a spell around me, luring me in.

“Lie down.” His quiet command had me doing just that.

Everything about Enzo was so masculine, so powerful. And I imagined if he’d told me to come, I would’ve orgasmed from his words alone.

He grabbed my wrists, lifting them above my head. He hesitated briefly, his eyes focused on my bracelet before he said, “Now, don’t move. Not unless I tell you to.”

I nodded, so very eager I feared it verged on desperate. The pressure built, lust overriding my better sense.

He skimmed his fingers down my arms, over my sides, before dragging them down my legs. I gripped the edge of the massage table, and he appraised me as if I were there solely for his pleasure. Both our smiles vanished, and I wanted to rub my thighs together, but I knew better. His command had me rooted to the spot, eagerly awaiting what would happen next.

His dark hair was shiny, and I ached to run my fingers through it as he explored my clit with his fingers then delved inside me.

Sei magnifica. You feel your pussy, sucking my fingers in, holding me tight?” he rasped. “Imagine how good my dick will feel.”

His shoulders were strong, and I interlaced my fingers, squeezing my hands together to avoid the temptation to map his body as he took full control of mine. I leaned my head back. I was ready, my body poised to climax even as I wanted to draw this moment out as long as possible.

I’d felt so broken the past few months that this experience was incredibly empowering. Or maybe it was the way he looked at me. Because even though he was the one controlling my movements, guiding my body, I was the one who’d brought him to his knees. As he leaned forward, licking my clit, lapping up my juices, he appeared like a supplicant at an altar.

Deliziosa,” he muttered then resumed his ministrations until my legs were shaking, and the pleasure built and built and built until it finally burst. Waves of ecstasy crashing over me.

I cried out and reached for him, needing to hold on to something before I floated away.

When he met my eyes from between my thighs, his lips were slick with my desire. “On your knees.” Then he softened. “As long as you think it won’t hurt your ankle.”

I shook my head. “I’ll be fine.”

When I did as he said, the sting of his palm against my ass made me freeze. The shock of it had me momentarily stunned, but as he rubbed the spot with his hand, I was struck by a sudden revelation. I liked it.

“Mm.” I could hear the smile in his voice, and it was as if he’d known this about me before I’d ever considered it.

I’d never had a man treat me so roughly, and I liked it. The way he fisted my hair. The tightness of his grip on my hip. The bruising way he kissed me. I liked that he wasn’t afraid I might shatter at the slightest touch.

He grabbed my hips, pulling me back to his mouth. “Oh! Oh.”

The moment his tongue hit my sensitive flesh, my knees nearly buckled. But he continued to feast on me, relentless in his pursuit of my orgasm. He licked and sucked my clit, fingering me until I was on the verge of coming again.

I wondered how he could extract so much pleasure from me. I’d never experienced a high quite like this, and I didn’t know how much longer I could hold out. But I trusted that if I did, he’d make it worth the wait.

I was panting, on the verge of begging, when he growled against my clit, “Come for me.”

His gruff voice traveled through me, detonating the explosion I’d been so desperately holding at bay. And what an explosion it was—such a sudden rush of sensations and colors that I was delirious. But he didn’t stop, not until I was limp and barely able to hold myself up.

It was only as I was coming back down to earth that I heard him say, “Buono.” Good.

Dear lord, that was more than good. That was… I didn’t even have words for how incredible he’d made me feel. When my friends had talked about sex in the past, I’d always listened with a bit of skepticism at their life-changing orgasms. But Enzo had converted me; I was officially a believer.

Girati.” He gave my ass a gentle smack, announcing his intent that I turn over.

I smiled, amused that he’d been reduced to these one-word commands. Pleased that he’d resorted to his native tongue. Hearing him speak Italian was sexy as hell. And I would do whatever he wanted if he continued looking at me the way he was right now.
