Except for my pain in the–wherever he can shove himself–husband of mine. We collide, bump heads, fight as hard as we love, and have been kicking life together for decades.
Everything takes its toll and sometimes we need a reality check to get the knife off our throat to be able to breathe. I know I do, or there might not be a next breath to spend more time with the ones I love.
