EXCERPT:
It was dark in the bathroom because we didn’t pause to turn on the light. “I just want you to know how special you are, Remi. I’ve loved you for as long as I can remember.” His fingers ghosted over my cheekbone and then he bent to kiss my lips with a soft, lingering, open mouth. He was trembling. “Now, I can barely believe this is real.”
I almost started crying. Emotions overflowing; I couldn’t get enough of this man. “It’s the same for me.”
“Do you have any candles?” His voice was breathless, and his heart was beating hard against my breasts. Our hands were both working to shed each other of clothing. I unbuttoned his shirt and pushed it from his shoulders and after shrugging free of it, Dylan pulled my shirt from the front of my jeans and lifted it over my head. He tossed it aside to fall to the floor near his.
“I do,” I placed a run of kisses over his chest and shoulders, raking my hands down his bare back.
“Remi,” he said, and pulled my hips forward until they crashed into his. He thrust them forward to rub my most sensitive flesh through our jeans. “I can’t take it,” his hands moved first to the front of his to pull at the button and the zipper than do the same to mine. After that, the candles were forgotten, and we ended up in the shower.
Dylan’s mouth swooped and took mine in a hungry kiss as his body pushed me hard against the wall. I was breathless as we kissed, the warmth of the water rushing over our skin and saturating our hair.
Dylan let out a guttural groan. “Remi… I want this to last.” I could tell he was struggling for control by the strain in his voice and the tremors in his shoulders, and I wanted him to.
In the dark and wet heat, our hands roamed and teased, as the control broke.
