Genre: Contemporary/Security Romance

Irish is flat out fun to read, keeping me laughing along with swooning from start to finish!” ~ The Red Hatter Book Blog

Holy. Freaking. Amazing… The writing style of this book was amazing. I could not believe how sucked into the book I got.” ~Seraphim Book Reviews

HOLY HOTNESS BATMAN! This book was one of my top 5 books all year!” ~ Goodreads Review (Kelsee)

Derek “Irish” Cortell. Badass close protection agent. Sexy, panty-melting smile. Superhero? There’s something strange about the men at Reed Security. When socially awkward Claire Grant works up the nerve to talk to Derek in the grocery store, it opens up a whole new world for her in which her fantasies are becoming reality. Yes, she’s a librarian. Yes, it’s quite possible she’s immersed herself in too many books, but her eyes couldn’t possibly be deceiving her. Could they? Though Claire and Derek seem to have your typical romance, there is nothing typical about Derek or the people he works with, and soon Claire will find out just how super Derek really is.
“Not a chance in hell. I happen to like my hands wrapped around your juicy ass.”
She reared back and looked at me in horror. “You think my ass is juicy?”
“Uh, you’ve seen it, right? It’s big and perfect for me to grab onto.”
She struggled to get down and then pushed me away and stalked out of the water. “I can’t believe you just said my ass was big,” she yelled over her shoulder.
I stood there a minute trying to figure out what the hell I said that was so wrong. She had the most gorgeous ass I’d ever seen. Didn’t all girls want a big ass like that Kardashian woman? I ran after her and gripped onto her arm, swinging her around to see me.
“I like that your ass is big.”
She burst into tears and I stood there with wide eyes, wondering what I was supposed to do. There was a reason I didn’t date women. I didn’t know what the hell to say to them on the best of days. Sex was easy. Please them and they’ll be screaming your name the whole night. This…this was totally foreign to me.
“Having a big ass is a good thing. Men like to know they have something to grab onto. Besides, we want to know that you’re sturdy enough that we won’t break you when we fuck you.”
She looked up at me through her tears and cried even harder. “So, now I’m sturdy? Like a tree? Next thing, you’re going to tell me I have big thighs.”
“Big? No, definitely not big. They’re thick and muscular.”
“Thick?” She spun away from me and ran for the beach blanket, grabbing her stuff and throwing it in her bag.
“I like that you’re not a stick,” I said, trying to fix this before I totally fucked up the rest of our day. “If I wanted a model, I would go find one. But those women are all beauty and no brains.”

She sniffed and wiped at her face. “Well, I’m glad to know that I’m thick like a tree, I have a big ass, and apparently I don’t have beauty, but I have brains.”

I’m a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, “No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book.” I didn’t think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn’t already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven’t been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.

Everything happens for a reason. Even a curse…
Finneas O’Malley is not a man built for love. He could never love a woman more than he loves the adventure and danger of a life at sea, the freedom to chase the wind wherever it takes him. The lure of a foreign land, the danger of a battle at sea, the exotic lasses he beds… how could any man turn away from that?
But when Finn wrongs Siofra, all of that changes. Curses. Magic. Centuries of being beholden to a vengeful fae who wants nothing more than to destroy him. Can he find a way to break the curse? Will he find the very thing he once scorned?
I was born and raised in a tiny town in the wilds of northern New York, a pretty, little college town called Potsdam. I grew up in a family of lawyers and teachers and bucked all the traditions. Before becoming a writer, I spent a lot of years wearing combat boots in the US Army. I spent most of my time in boots working as a Signals Intelligence Analyst (no jokes!) and a linguist. I also worked as a tech writer, an entirely different kind of writing, for Corning Glass Works. Now, I’m an Army wife and a mom to four sons.  Over the years, our Army life has taken us all over the place and I have been lucky enough to work and live in some pretty amazing places.  Now we live in Hawaii, just minutes from the beach!
I am a writer thoroughly in love with words. Reading them, writing them… I love that words can take you outside of your world and let the unimaginable become imaginable. When I’m not writing or lounging on the beach, I’m probably somewhere with my nose in a book.

Even as a kid, I knew the kind of hell the world could dish out. I grew to expect the worst and learned to face it head on. When I became Satan’s Fury’s new enforcer, I knew I could handle whatever came my way—until Alex Carpenter, the gorgeous book store owner who brought color into my world of gray.

The club was at war, fighting an unknown enemy, and she was a distraction I didn’t need nor want. My focus should’ve been on my brothers and our latest adversary, but I felt an unexplainable pull towards her. Her beauty and innocence captivated me, and just being near her made the shadows of my past seem less daunting. Without even realizing it, I let her in, but as we grew closer, I quickly realized that her walls were even more guarded than my own.

Like me, Alex had a past filled with secrets. Could our broken souls find a way to mend together, or would we remain imprisoned by our past?
I heard the loud rumble of several motorcycles approaching, and as they got closer, I noticed something familiar about one of the men. Even in the pitch black of night, I knew it was him—the hot biker from the bookstore. I stood frozen in place as he and his friend whipped past me.
A black SUV pulled in right behind them and they all parked near the front door of Newman’s. I watched in awe as he got off his motorcycle and removed his helmet. He turned to look in my direction, and as those penetrating blue eyes locked on mine, all my sense of reason seemed to just wash away. I couldn’t move. My pulse was racing, my palms were sweating, and my hormones were raging. He looked so damn good with his dark hair tousled, and it was impossible not to notice how his jeans clung to him in all the right places. I was a complete mess. No man had ever had such an effect on me. I didn’t like it. I wanted to get into my car and shake it off, but when I realized that he was leaving his two friends to walk in my direction, my mind and body just wouldn’t cooperate. I simply stood there like a total idiot.
After he finally made his way over to me, I was surprised by his furrowed brow and intense expression. He just stood there staring at me for several seconds, and having no idea what else to do, I mumbled, “It’s you.”
“Yeah. It’s me.”
“I’m sorry … I don’t actually know your name.”
“It’s Shadow.” Before I could respond, he took a quick glance around the parking lot and asked, “You out here alone?”
“Yeah … I was just about to head home.”
“You shouldn’t be out here by yourself. It’s not safe,” he growled.
Surprised by his fierce tone, I became even more nervous and started to ramble. “I’m okay. My friends are inside. We were watching the band. I’m not sure if you’ve heard of them … the Smoking Guns. They’re pretty good. Not exactly my thing. A little loud for my taste. Not the loudest one I’ve ever been to, but close. At least I had an excuse to leave early … I have a shipment coming in tomorrow morning, so I need to be at the store early. What about you? Are you here to see the band, too?”
“Not exactly.” Without giving further explanation, he asked, “Where’s your car?”
“Um … it’s right over there,” I answered as I pointed in its direction.
He leaned to the side as he looked around me and grimaced, clearly not impressed by the state of my vehicle. “That’s your car?”
“Yeah. I know it’s not much, but it gets me to where I’m going.”
Just when I thought the moment couldn’t get any more uncomfortable, Jason stepped out of the bar, and as he glared at the burly biker standing next to me, he shouted, “Hey, Alex? You okay?”
“Yeah. I’m good. I was just about to leave.” When he didn’t move, I said, “You’re going to miss the closer if you don’t go back inside.”
“You’re sure you’re okay?”
“Yes, Jason. I’m fine.”
“Okay. Don’t forget to text me when you get home.”
“I will. Don’t worry.”
Once he was gone, I turned my attention back to my biker. He studied me for a moment, his eyes lingering on my mouth for only a fleeting moment; then, without saying a word, he started walking towards my car. Having no idea what he was doing, I just stood there trying to wrap my head around exactly what was happening. He turned around and looked over at me then said, “I thought you were leaving.”
“I am.” He cocked his eyebrow as he motioned his hand towards the driver’s side door. Feeling like a complete idiot, I rushed over to him and quickly unlocked my door.
He watched me get inside and asked, “You okay to drive?”
“Yes, I’m fine.” He again stared at me for a moment like he was trying to decide if I really was okay. “Seriously. I had one beer two hours ago. I’m fine.”
“Good.”
I expected him to step back, but he just stood there looking down at me. I felt warm all over, my heart was pounding so loudly that I was certain he could hear it. I felt my face turning red, and not wanting him to see my body’s reaction to him, I said, “Your motorcycle is really something. I bet it’s awesome to ride on a night like this.”
“It is.”
“Okay, well … I guess I better get going.” With a bit of hesitation, I put my hand on the door handle and as I started to close it, I said, “Thanks for walking me to my car.”
His expression softened as he moved out of the way and said, “Be careful.”
“I will. Thanks.”
After I closed the door, I gave him a smile and a quick wave goodbye, then started my engine. As I pulled out of the parking lot, I glanced up at my rearview mirror, and a chill ran down my spine when I noticed he was still standing in the same spot, watching intently as I drove out onto the main road.

“Damn,” I muttered to myself.

Reputation

Title: Reputation
Author: Dr. Rebecca Sharp
Genre: Enemies to Lovers/Rockstar Romance
Release Date: August 13, 2018

“I highly recommend this Rockstar Romance with the most delish slow burn that will have your heart in knots, flipping those pages, begging for a happy ending!” ~ Hot KU Romance-Dani

Completely and utterly BLOWN AWAY! This is my first novel by Rebecca Sharp and I am speechless! The story that she created is one of pain but also one of absolute beauty!” ~ Amazon Review (palegarreta)

Small-town girl. America’s Sweetheart.

The biggest popstar in the world

It began with one guy and then the next.

Until my reputation preceeded me.

Yes, I dated them – all of them.

Yes, I also broke up with them. All of them.

Was it too much? The world said yes. Too many, too quickly.

And my star began to flicker.

The world knew nothing about my life and yet, their judgement weighed on me like stone.

My reputation was falling faster than a shooting star and the only way to save it was with the boy who never wanted me.

Zach Parker was a singer, songwriter, and sexy as sin.

To him, I was just the neighbor’s little sister.

A pest that had grown into a famous annoyance.

Zach Parker wanted nothing to do with me.

But he could be tempted – with a stepping stone to fame, that is.

The plan was simple: Childhood Sweethearts Fall in Love on US Tour.

The plan was to let them see what they wanted to see: our ‘romance’ blossom right in front of their eyes.

A romance that Zach had made painfully clear to me years ago would never exist.

I’m told that it was the only thing that could repair my image.

So, every night I’ll stand on that stage and give Zach my heart piece by piece, note by note.

We’ll give them a show they’ll never forget – and a love story that I may not survive.

Because who cares that in order to put my reputation back together, I’ll have to tear my heart apart?

The Butcher’s Daughter

The Butcher’s Daughter
by Mark M. McMillin
Genre: Historical Nautical Romantic Adventure

In an age ruled by iron men, in a world of new discovery and Spanish

gold, a young Irishwoman named Mary rises from the ashes of her

broken childhood with ships and men-at-arms under her command. She

and her loyal crew prowl the Caribbean and prosper in the New World

for a time until the ugly past Mary has fled from in the old one finds her.

Across the great ocean to the east, war is coming. The King of Spain is

assembling the most powerful armada the world has ever seen – an

enormous beast – to invade England and depose the Protestant “heretic

queen.” To have any chance against the wealth and might of Spain,

England will need every warship, she will need every able captain. To

this purpose, Queen Elizabeth spares Mary from the headman’s axe

for past sins in exchange for her loyalty, her ships and men.

Based on true historical events, this is a tale about war, adventure, love

and betrayal. This is a story about vengeance, this is a tale of

heartbreak…

“… a pleasurable and action-packed read … a delicious spin to the

otherwise tired clichés of male captains … the joy of the open

seas – as well as the danger churning below – pulses throughout this

rip-roaring, hearty tale of the high seas.” – Kirkus Reviews

Born in 1954 in Indiana, Mark McMillin has lived in a number of states

throughout the U.S. as well as overseas. He attended Canisius College

in Buffalo, New York, focusing his studies mostly on military

history, and served as a cadet in Canisius’s nationally recognized

ROTC program. After graduating in 1976, Mark was commissioned a

Second Lieutenant in the United States Army and was stationed in Bad

Kissingen, Germany where he served with the elite 11th Armored

Cavalry Regiment.

In 1986, Mark received his J.D. degree from The John Marshall Law School

in Chicago, Illinois and began his legal career with a law firm in

White Plains, New York focusing his attention on general corporate

law. In 1994, Mark moved to Virginia and ventured out into hazardous

world of litigation where, in 1999, he won what was reported to be at

the time one of the largest and longest federal criminal trials in

Virginia’s history. Mark thereafter moved to Georgia where he resumed

his general corporate practice and served as general counsel for

several companies, including a $1B publicly-traded airline.

Mark has been a life-long student of military history. And he has always

had a passion for reading and love for writing and wanted to someday

write his own book. But write a book about what? Mark had no desire

to write about some subject that 100 authors before him had already

delved into. And then, almost by accident, this fascinating, little

known story of Captain Luke Ryan fell into his lap. It was an

opportunity was too good to pass on and so Mark began the long and

tedious journey of researching, writing and rewriting. The twelve

year project ended in 2011 with Gather the Shadowmen (The Lords of

the Ocean), Prince of the Atlantic and Napoleon’s Gold.

Mark currently lives in the Southeastern part of the United States.
