She could be the one to save him… if she doesn’t burn him alive first.

Ex-SEAL Walker Roman can never forget the carnage he witnessed during wartime. It haunts his dreams and lurks in the darkness of his every waking moment, ceaseless and unstoppable, no matter what he does to quiet his demons.

Until the first time he sees the beautiful Ashleigh. For a moment, the demons scatter.

One look at her sparkling blue eyes, and he’ll do anything to take her home. It doesn’t matter what secrets the strip club waitress has hiding in those depths… He needs her, naked and moaning his name, now.

But those secrets are dangerous, and Walker doesn’t know he’s stepped into a minefield. Before he can so much as steal a kiss, they’re on the run from the Russian mob, hiding out in his hometown.

Walker knows the smart choice is to turn the girl over and save himself – but with every glance, every touch, and every kiss, he falls harder for his Doll.

Caught between a rock and a hard place, will Walker and Ashleigh let go?

Or will Ashleigh learn that a ring from a SEAL really means forever?

My Review:

This is awesome bad boy story that will keep wanting more. The two characters are both battle their own demons that is holding them back from a relationship with any one. Ashleigh is caught in nowhere land since she owns by the Russian mafia. When she meets Walker, she feels something. Walker has shut himself off from everyone from the nightmares he has about being a seal and the loss of Jennifer.  When the two are bought together to protect Ashleigh from the threat against her. The feeling is starting to come to the front and will they give in to them or let the past hold them back? The suspense of the story will keep you on the edge. You can feel the steamy chemistry between walker and Ashleigh that they heat up the pages. Recommend this book you will fall in love with the bad boy

Jessica was a woman of the modern world, fully entrenched in all of the trappings of a wealthy, privileged life. Money, clothes, jewelry, exclusive galas, and influential friends. As Jessica travels to Seattle for an exlcusive ball – and she believes, her engagement party – her plane is caught in a storm and struck by lightning. The fury of the storm tears the plane apart but not before Jessica notices it being drawn into a swirling, glowing vortex…

When she awakens, she celebrates the fact that she survived, but it doesn’t take her long to realize she’s a long way from home when a group of tiger shifters confronts her and then escorts her back to their village.

Jessica is forced to accept that she has traveled to a different world – and that there is no way home. She gradually comes to accept life in the village, among the people, and catches the eye of the large, brooding, sexy Alpha of the tribe – Tomeo.

And so begins the courtship as Tomeo wishes to make Jessica his wife and she must learn to let go of the old world and embrace the new.

This was a collection of short story. I have to say that Jessica character is someone that I would never wants to be around cause of her attitude. We see changes and the suspense when Tomeo and Jessica meet. Have to read to see if the shifter can find that women that is different from all others.  If you like shifter stories then you may like this one
